Your Wi-Fi password is also the password for your account in your property's registration portal. Changing one changes the other.
Change your password
A computer is easiest for this, but a phone works too.
- Connect to your property's Wi-Fi network.
- Open your property's registration portal. The address is in your setup email and looks like
https://xxxx.connect-device.com. - Log in with your current username and password.
- Click Profile in the menu.
- Under Account Info, enter your new password. Check the password requirements shown on the page.
- Save, then reconnect each of your Wi-Fi devices using the new password (see below).
If your new password won't save or you get an error, try a different special character.
After changing it: reconnect your devices
Devices that remember the old password will show "Incorrect password" or keep failing to connect. On each device, forget your property's network, then join it again and enter the new password. Wired (Ethernet) devices registered in the portal aren't affected.
Still seeing "Incorrect password"?
- Copy and paste the password from your email instead of typing it. Generated passwords mix letters and numbers that are easy to mistype, like 0 and O.
- iPhone or iPad: go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the (i) next to the network, and set Private Wi-Fi Address to Off. Then try again. Other phones and laptops have a similar setting; see My devices are disconnecting frequently or forcing me to log in every time.
- Make sure you're joining your property's main network, not a setup or guest network.
- Was the device ever connected with someone else's password? If a roommate or friend once connected it for you, the device is registered to their account and your password won't work on it. Send us the device's MAC address and we'll move it to your account.
Still stuck? Submit a request with your name, property, unit and the device's MAC address.
