If you have an Internet of Things device like smart lights, switches, pet feeder, or a camera, it's most likely only compatible with 2.4GHz wireless bands, not the 5GHz most use now
Don't worry! We've planned for this.
We 'mask' both of these frequencies under the same network name. If you have a cell phone that's compatible with both, it'll automatically be moved to the faster 5GHz unless it needs the extra range. If your device only supports 2.4GHz, that's the only network it'll see, and our wireless controller will ensure it has a stable connection.
