Of course you can use an Ethernet connection. In fact, it's recommended for gaming and stability-focused uses.
First off, you'll need to connect an Ethernet cable from your device to the wall-mounted jack in your room or unit.
Once connected and your device is powered on, you may be prompted to log in through your property's registration portal. If so, go ahead and log in and your device will be automatically registered. Congratulations, you're done!
If you're not prompted to log in or your device doesn't have a web browser, you may need to register your device manually. For this, you'll need your device's wired MAC address. This can usually be found in the network settings or an 'About' page. It should be in the format 'xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx'
Once you have that, visit your property's registration portal, go to the 'Devices' page, and add it as a device. You may also need to reboot your device.
Congrats, you're done as well!
